EMULSIFIERS |
|---|
| INTRODUCTION
Emulsions are, in some cases, very efficient and cost effective fluids for fracturing stimulation and/or acid stimulation of oil and gas wells. By forming an emulsion (water-in-oil or oil-in-water), the desired treating phase of the fluid is encased while the outer phase can be made to be totally compatible with the formation. This permits maximum penetration of the fluid for maximum stimulation. |

Anionic pale yellow liquid emulsifier for oil-in-water/acid phased fracturing fluid emulsions. OILAID-EM-15 provides excellent thermal stability at temperatures up to 250°F. These emulsions exhibit excellent proppant transport and wide fractures. Typically loaded in concentrations of 0.1% to 0.2% by volume. Product Data Sheet |
Liquid oil-in-water/acid surfactant emulsifier for high temperature applications. Effective for temperatures up to 400 °F (204°C). OILAID-EM-20 may be used with aqueous phases from 10% to 80%. OILAID-EM-20 is premixed into the water phase, then the hydrocarbon fluid is added with heavy mixing. OILAID-EM-20 is typically used in concentrations from 0.5% to 2% by volume. Product Data Sheet |
