| INTRODUCTION
Bactericides are used to kill micro-organisms which include sulfate reducing bacteria, slime forming bacteria, and algae. These micro-organisms attack polymeric drilling muds, completion and workover fluids, slick waters, fracturing fluids, etc., and can cause deterioration of the fluid system and reduced effectiveness of the well treatments. Bacteriacides are typically hazardous by nature, and care should be used in their application. |

Liquid water soluble microbiocide for oilwell drilling and processing applications. OILAID-B-10 is effective over a wide pH range and against many types of microbacteria including sulfate-reducing and slime forming bacteria and algae. It can be used in drilling fluids, completion/workover fluids, water floods, and packer fluids. Typical loadings range from 0.05 to 0.4 ppb of treating fluid, depending on the application. Powder, microbiocide/preservative, for water processing and storage control of sulfate reducing and slime forming bacteria in various types of oilfield fluid systems. A highly effective thiocarbamate liquid biocide used in water- base fracturing fluids. OILAID-B-45 is used most efficiently by adding directly to the frac tank prior to addition of the water.
