| INTRODUCTION
These products include cellulosic polymers, starches, modified starches, CMC/polysaccharide complexes, and synthetics. The THERMO-TROL products are hybrid compounds incorporating thermostable synthetics on lignitic bases. Thermal stability of the starch and cellulose derivatives is in the range of 120-150°C, while synthetics such as POLYTHERM and THERMEX-FL can be applied in environments with temperatures as high as 260°C. Most of these products have beneficial secondary effects on mud rheology. |

An economic alternative to expensive PAC products. Celpac-SL is a high purity polymer compound designed to reduce fluid loss in a variety of muds while increasing the viscosity of the mud less than the low viscosity PACs. |

Sulfonated vinyl copolymer of medium-high molecular weight. An extreme temperature stable (232°C/450°F ) HTHP filtration reducing agent and rheological conditioner. Especially useful in high brine drilling fluids and high levels of divalent cations. Will extend the temperature limitations of most organic fluid loss additives such as starch and CMC.
